Austins surgery update Fantastic News!
Answered Prayers!
Outstanding News! The operation to remove dead tissue & fluid is no longer necessary!
Wednesday, August 30th - Austin, Barbara & Jerry spent the day in Gainesville doing lab work, administrative paperwork and going to Doctor�s appointments. The last scheduled event at the end of the day was for Austin to go for an MRI.
After completing the MRI, they checked in at the hotel. Within minutes after checking in, Jerry�s phone rang & it was Dr. Roper, the neurosurgeon. He had just pulled up Austin�s MRI that had been completed within the last hour, and compared it to the one taken a few weeks ago. There had been a �dramatic� change. All the dead tissue that was causing Austin�s problems had resolved itself and �was not to be seen on the MRI�. The tumor was still there, but the area in which he was to operate in and remove, was gone. Dr. Roper & Dr. Smith (Austin�s oncologist) both agreed that the surgery was not necessary now. NO SURGERY!
The family believes this is an answer to prayer. We thank all of Austin�s �Prayer Warriors� for lifting Austin up faithfully before God, and thank God that the surgery is no longer necessary.
As Jerry said �Only God could have done this, and we give him all the praise. Thank you, Lord!�

We lucked out again with the storm Ernesto-it fizzled out and we just got some rain and not much of that but we did loose our power for about a hour and a half-why i dont know it wasnt even storming and today is back to being sunny and humid...
My house is a total mess and all week i've lacked the energy to do anything-something has got to give with my hormones-they totally wipe me out and my curse is 3 days late which I wish it would just come so I can feel better..I bought me some progesteron creme that i might try and see if that brings me any relief-i've been doing some reading online about it a lot of women swear by it so what the heck im game for anything these days cause this sucks but I feel stupid nagging about it when Austin has fantastic news-yeahhhh he's a fighter!!!
