I hope everyone had a beautiful blessed day and got everything you wanted or just had fun hanging with families and friends!!
We woke to some amazing rough weather-around 5am we me and hubby heard a lot of very loud wind and noisy and then by morning we woke up again to Tornados in our area and tons of rain and power outages-Wes's friends Joe and Jeff live in Lake City and they got hit by a huge Tornado and he hasnt been able to talk to them all day-we just saw them Sunday at the Jags game which our jags lost-againnnn-things finally calmed down and we opened presents and took naps and then went out to dinner so our day was very nice!!!!
Now im doing tons of laundry cause we are leaving at 5:30am to go to the Smokey Mountains-YEAHHHHHHHHHHH-we're renting a cabin and going to attempt sking for the very first time-YIKKKKKES-the kids are excited to see snow and there are flurries expected-not just man made snow-but man made snow to Floridians and just as good :)
We should be coming back Saturday-we're staying one night in Atlanta on the way back-we want to get back before New Years Eve and be off the roads Before the drunkies hit the streets :)
Poor Wes isnt going-he's Bo watching and house sitting and having football partys with his friends before they head back to college-all 4 of us havent been on a trip together in a long time....Besides me and hubby and Doug going-my mom and bailey and dougs friend Justin is going-my nephew Daulton pulled out at the last second cause "he wants to spend time with his freinds before they start back to school" YEAAAAAAAAAA its because he has his first serious girlfriend and cant be away from her for a second-aunt patti aint that big of a dummy...
have a safe week everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR if I dont get to tell ya before the day comes-cant wait to see what all happens to my DL buds this year and how we help each other out when needed and make each other laugh when we need that badly too :)
