my oldest child will be coming home this weekend from his trip in alaska-the 2 months have gone bye really fast but im glad he'll be back home-lets see how long that last ;)
I talked to him last night and they went "real" camping not fishing camping and i didnt like the stories he had to tell us-when they were hiking a park ranger stopped them and 2 cute baby bear cubs came walking bye and then her comes the mama bear and she came towards Wes and Nena and Wes said it was the biggest bear he has seen-it got 6ft close to nena and Wes was about 10ft from it-the park ranger told them not to look at it and to slowly walk away-HELLLLLL NOOOOOO-my ass would of been dead cause I would of screamed and ran!!!!
Then Wes went fishing on the beach with his rod and reel and heard something in the bushes behind him and just thought it was a bird-nope-it was a grizzly bear and the bear just jumped in the water for a dip and grabbed a fish....
then they got back to their campsite and thier whole tent was destroyed-a bear tore it to pieces-shredded it...thank god they werent there...nenas grandma was with them that trip and i talked to loretta today(nenas mom) and she said it was true-she isnt in alaska,she lives near us and she said she talked to her mom and nena and was told about it too...Wes said he was walking back to the truck and nena and her grandma were pointing at something laughing and wes thought it was another bear or something-he said nope it was some drunk lady who just pulled down her pants and pissed in the middle of the road and of coarse nena took pictures of her!!! im sure they will be all over myspace soon!!
Wes informed me that when he gets back he wants to build a smoke house in the back of our yard-yeahhhhh that will fly in our neighborhood with our neighbors-we sooooo need to live in acreage and not a deed restricted area but property is too damn expensive around here now!!!!
speaking of property-we busted our asses this weekend cleaning our home cause we were getting it appraised on monday afternoon...it took me all day to just do our bedroom on sunday and saturday i went on a shopping spree and bought much needed lights for the inside and solar power lights for the outside and a new ceiling fan for dougs room and they all are purdy....
well i saved vacuuming and cleaning the kitchen until monday and that turned out to be a horriable day-just my luck-our carpet was so dirty from all the styrafoam from the boxes and dog hair etc...and guess what happened?! my belt broke on the vacuum and i called hubby if he could pick one up on his way home and then i go and lift the blinds in the kitchen to clean the window sills and the blind broke in half so i had to call hubby again to pick up some new blinds too-ugh-and then i had to measure them to give him the sizes and luckly i did it right :) and while i was kneeling down to pick up the broken blind i stood up and nailed my back on the window seal-right were i had surgery and now its soooo sore and bruised....then the guy comes and was here less then 20 mintues and barely looked at things-fucker-lol :)of coarse this year the home values are going down which isnt a good thing on our part-oh well it is what it is!!
everything else has been ok-and normal for this week-yeah-they canceled my moms drs. appt. on tuesday and now its scheduled for thurs. poor lady is in so much pain and is out of pills....
doug is happy as heck-football training camp has started which means the season is just around the corner-yeah-he went a few times and got a few autographs and was in the paper-as always-that child of mine always makes it in the paper or news...one of our starters already has broken his foot-our center-and will be out for 8 weeks-i hate training camp injurys-poor guys work so hard in the off season then get hurt at training camp and miss the real season....we did sign a new qb-tim couch-we need help and i hope he can do the job!!
well i just woke up from a 4 hour rest-i think me and doug have allergys or getting a sinus infection and i hope im not getting pink eye-my eyes are feeling burning and gooey-yuck!!
my boy is coming home :) i cant wait to see how much weight he has lost and hear his million storys-that is the talkative child!!
nite
