HIP HIP HOORAY TO BAILEY GIRL

Im a very proud Aunt Patti~my niece Bailey had her first ever gymnastic meet this past Saturday in Apoka Fl. and she did AWESOME!!! She got 6th in Beam, 6th All Around and drum roll pleaseeeeeee~ 1st IN FLOOR!!!!!!! How amazing is that????? And her team got 1st in Team!!!! She did so much better then we thought she would-we thought she would be really nervous!! we all are so proud of her-me and her mom Lorrie were crying our eyes out when she got 1st in floor-shoot we were crying when she got 6th....
i felt so sorry for Bailey and Lorrie cause Lorrie got a call around midnight from one of the coaches saying they better leave early cause they had been stuck in traffic for over 3 hours cause of a big sink hole near Daytona-so Lorrie woke Bailey up at 2am and they left and there was no traffic and they arrived at the school where the meet was held at 5am and slept in the van...we hit some traffic on our way there cause they had it down to one lane where the sink hole was but it was moving fast!!! My brother jimmy couldnt get off of work to go so he was very upset that he missed it and my mom didnt go with us which pissed me off but thats another story and when she talked to Bailey she was so happy for her and was saying so sorry she missed it and that she would come to the next one and of coarse Bailey kept saying that is ok gran gran if you missed it-too sweet-but it pissed me and my husband off-she could of went with us but always has an dumb excuse but i should be use to it-they never supported me or my kids in nothing!!!
After the meet we kidnapped Bailey from Lorrie and we took her to downtown Orlando and we ate at RAINFOREST CAFE and we had a really good time and Bailey got a really cool cup and so did i-lol-mine lights up and of coarse my boys want it-too bad!!! :) we then walked around a bunch of shops and bought Bailey a new monkey and she named it "gym" for gymnastics and her dads name is Jim~she kept her leotard on and her medals and everybody was asking her about them-it was cute!!!
Wes went to the florida state game again and all of his friends including him painted their whole bodys in garnet and gold paint and they looked so cool-i'll have to post some pictures on my other blog...
Doug and i went to the Jags/Bengals game last night and it was a lot of fun-we had good seats and of coarse our cardic cats almost lost it in the end but we pulled a win off!!! I think im officially old-i cant stand being around drunks in crowded places-lol-before i thought it was funny to watch and could tolerate it but now i feel like i could fight them-lmao-we didnt get home until 1am this morning-my hubby was suppose to go with us but he backed out cause he had to be at work early-i think he really is officially old-lmao-and wes didnt go and he has season tickets cause he was worn out from the FSU game and he didnt get home until Sunday and he had to get up at 6:30am today-wussssss!!! lol
we had a really good weekend!!! :)
