WHAT DO YOU DO????????

What can one do to help someone you love get out of a bad situation when they keep making excuses of why they have to stay????!!!!
I have a Aunt that im close to but she lives about 7 hours away and her husband beats her up which is news to me-my aunt told my mom(her sister)about it when she was up here last year for thier other sisters funereal,i always knew about the verbal abuse and i was guessing he had to of hit her before-her own daughters didnt know about the hitting either...
my aunt just started a new job and we all gave it 2 weeks before he started showing up or calling her non-stop-right on time, he started this past friday, he came to her work and took her car away when she was working so he could be in control of where she goes and when etc...her new boss who is a dentist and one of the other girls that works in the office took my aunt to cash her check at lunch time so she could have some money in her purse if she needed it-great way to start a new job right??-asshole kept calling to speak to the dentist when they got back from the bank and lunch-yes he was spying on them-soooo when it came 5pm like always he had his son-her son too-call and said they were waiting outside to take her to dinner-asshole always brings the son in to do the "he's sorry mom" routine and my aunt went with them of coarse and told her son that "if it ever happens again im out of here" song and dance....
welllll i get a call yesterday from my cousin saying that asshole threw her mom into their pool and was trying to drown her-did she call the police-NO-my cousin was in the Bahamas when all of this took place so there wasnt much she could do and her other daughter lives in Pittsburg and her son is 15 and a daddys boy-which i doubt he was home anyway-my cousins had a 3 way call with her on Tuesday and were begging for their mom to get out-they would do everything to help her but she says she just cant leave her son and her son wont leave his dad.....etc....
she is going to end up dead-of coarse me and my mom cant stand the bastard-i said when he is asleep my aunt should wack him in the head and throw him in the pool and say oooopppps he dove in the shallow end....shhhhhh-of coarse i know thats not the right thing to do!!! :) you can only try and help her so much-she has to want the help i guess..................................
Wes's friend Eric leaves tomorrow to go back to Afghanastan-he had 2 weeks off and now has to go back for another 6 months atleast....he said he only had one standoff so far and it lasted about 45 seconds with a Afghan-neither one fired thier guns-i dont know if i could just stand there for that long with someone pointing thier gun at me-when he got back to the tank his guys were yelling at him for not shooting!! scary stuff.....we still havent heard anything from Dougs friend Andrew who left to go to basic training Jan.3rd-im sure he is getting into shape and very sore-not that we expected to hear from him anytime soon-i miss anddddy!!!
Doug has his second day of college today/Friday and Wes is going to FSU for the weekend and going to a basketball game Sunday with his buds-he's going to miss his dads b/day which is this Saturday-my baby is going to be 45 :*)~
