i need ANOTHER vacation :)
At 2007-06-25 on 10:54 p.m.
we are back from our lil vacation and it was tiring and stressful and fun and stressful filled with lots of laughs and stressful ;) one of those kind of vacations that you need another vacation to really relax and enjoy yourself!!
We left late thursday night and drove most of the night and by the time hubby got tired of driving it was already around 4:30am so we slept in the van at some rest area-we've never done that before and Doug and I were like you have to be kidding us-grrr-but we all did passout pretty quickly and slept for like 2 hours with our bodys shaped like a pretzel and some man walking his dog gazing at us...we drove to DC and parked the van real quick cause marine 1 was landing at the white house(i dont care what party you are its neat as heck seeing the President Of The United States) we could see them picking up Bush and his helicopter flew right over us and Doug took some really great pics....we spent the rest of the day touring the sights in the same clothes we had on the day before-nice huh?!- but we did have a great time...
we then drove to York PA and had dinner and stayed at a nice hotel-it felt so good to stretch out and sleep in a bed and shower...we then met up with my mom,dad,bailey and daulton at the Harley Davidson factory and we took the tour of that and that was neat to watch them make those nice Harleys-i want a fatboy with a side car :)
Daulton and Bailey left with us and we headed to our hotel in Lancaster PA and my mom and dad headed to my Aunt Kims house in Lebanon PA-Daulton and Bailey ran to us and begged us to save them cause my dad was driving them nuts with his driving-more on that later-our hotel was in the ghetto-it wasnt anything like it looked and sounded online thats for sure-we had lots of laughs in that nasty place-bad thing is I think I forgot my cellphone charger there cause i cant find it anywhere-grrrr-
Sunday we got up and headed towards my aunts house to follow my parents to Hershey Park and we had a really nice day there-except they ran out of electric wheelchairs and we had to push my mom around in a manual one up and down the hills-that woman better get her knees replaced this fall like she was suppose to do last year-thats all im saying...after we did everything at the park we went on the factory tour and loaded up on candy :)~
Monday we went to Philly and that trip was a mess-we got lost a million times and all the tickets for that day were already given out for the tours but we got in anyway ;) because my hubby has skillzzz like that....we then went to find the ROCKY statue and they moved it AGAIN-2 years ago me and hubby went and they moved it near the sports staduims-well they moved it back near the steps that "Rocky" ran up~this was a "Griswold" trip for sure and there was no public bathrooms anywhere downtown and I had to go soooooooo bad-i wasnt a happy vacationier....When me and my husband went 2 years ago we had a great time in Philly and Lancaster and couldnt wait to go back-this time was not fun and peeps were rude this time....
We checked out on Tuesday and headed towards Atlantic City NJ where me and hubby went 2 years ago on the same trip and had a good time but once again not this time-it was trashy and my dad was a jerk and the kids hated it but on Wed.they had a lil bit more fun during the day on the boardwalk and our hotel was kind of on the trashy side once again-one morning we were watching the Maury show while everyone was getting ready and 4 prostitues had went missing and they found them dead and the hotel they showed was right next to ours-this didnt happen while we were there but the cases are still not solved-we were all laughing but freaked out...
We left Thurs.morning and headed to NYC and once again we had a hell of a time getting around and finding things-this NEVER happens to us NYC was very crowded-more then usual-I was kind of on the bitchy side until we got to time square-Doug had his picture taken with the naked cowgirl-i guess she took over the place of the naked cowboy cause he wasnt there...and it started to rain so that was our day in NYC-we never have enough time there to see everything and having your parents follow you in their van is hell on wheels....
we left NYC and drove to IDK and got a room but before that we hit one of the worst rain/hail storms ever and Doug took pics of clouds that looked like tornados forming and everybody was driving super slow cause you couldnt see and we had our flashers on etc...and my dad was calling us yelling at us telling us we need to stop on the side of the road and wait on them etc...he was like this the whole trip and ruined it for everyone-NEVER again will we do a trip with him-my mom says the samething-she will never go off with him again... we came home a day early cause we all had enough...and we missed our Bo :)
Wes has had his run ins with the bears in Alaska but luckly they leave the people alone-the house where he is staying has a smoke house in the back so the bears go there trying to get in so thats usually where they see them-they put a radio in there and that seems to be keeping them away...the fish still arent running so they havent done any commercial fishing...
My Aunt Jean was laid to rest on the 15th and David is still in jail and he now has a criminal lawyer so its not looking good on his part and Crystal has gone and seen him in jail and he still blames her moms drinking for the accident but we all know he played some roll in it-i was talking to her today and he kept trying to call in but she wouldnt take the call-its now hitting her and Teresa and Saul and the rest of us that we cant just pick up the phone and call her and she aint coming back-anywayyyy Crystal is probably driving up this weekend to drop off her oldest son Caine because he loves me and my mom and my mom reminds him of his nana so we will share him for about a month-he's 10 years old so this will be all new to me again :)
i need to go read up and see what all i've missed...
I wanna go on a cruise!!!!!!
