HAPPY NEW YEAR......
I hope everyone had a nice,safe night ringing in the New Year..Me and the S man were traveling home most of the time but we did make it home around 9pm.. Doug had his girlfriend over and Wes had a young lady named Melissa over so it was a real laid back night around here-we ended up switching back and forths from Pulp Fiction(for the millionth time) and To Catch a Predator and then we watch some othe movie and had to turn it off after we heard the fireworks going off-ooppss forgot to watch the New Year ring in on tv but caught it a few seconds after the apple dropped in NYC...I would love to go there atleast once to ring in the New Year in Time Square...
Our lil weekend get away and no the brats didnt go with us :) We had a good time but didnt win anything playing the machines-we did but we played what we won and lost it-but thats why its called gambeling and not winning!!!! This time around the casino was packed with it being around New Years and all the bowl games going on it was a lil crowded but fun...I love the rooms at the Hard Rock Casino and Resort in Hollywood Fl.-they are so nice-the whole place is and they have a really nice pool...We always get free rooms so thats why we go for a few days a year...This time we did meet one Celeb-Manny from the show Jackass and he does stuff with Steve-o and Chris on WILDBOYZ and The Animal Planet-he is like an american version of Steve Irwin the croc hunter(rip)...Me and S got our pics taken with him-he was doing a show with all people Ross the Intern-I love him-he is famous from being on Jay Leno and doing the olympics with Katie Couric and being on celeberty weight lost show..We didnt see him...I did get my picture taken in front of the room where Anna Nicole died-they changed the number-she died in room 607-that room number isnt there anymore-its now room 609-i guess to keep people away and so people dont know thats where she died...except for people like me who knows all the celeb gossip :) it goes room 603,605,609...we could see her balcony from our room-we were in room 803...of coarse my pics will be on myspace ;) either you liked her or hated her-I was a fan-she wasnt as dumb as she pretended to be but she did do stupid stuff...and the media loves to make some one a star and then tear them down just as fast...
our second day there-sunday-we honestly didnt get up until around 6pm-hubby woke up early then went back to sleep-i woke up around 11 and watched the miami game on tv just to see the score of my jags on the bottomline(we lost but it didnt really matter we didnt play our starters) this weekend is when it matters GO JAGS-then i feel back aslep around 3:30 and woke up around 6:30pm and it was that good ass sleep so complaints...things start happening at night around there anyway-we played a few more games then went an got some dinner at a really nice Native Indian restaurant called Renegades-it was really nice inside-i took pics.-the whole Casino is runned by Indians that is the only way we have gambling in florida cause it goes to thier tribes for scholarships and health care for their kids and im an Indian fanatic and we love our Seminoles :)....my husbnads steak was HUGEEEEEEEE and he loved every bite of it...
We left Monday morning and headed towards where my aunt Jean use to live cause S has never seen the house-we found it and then we found her gravesite which made me sad-the grounds people arent keeping it up so i pulled a bunch of dead weeds and tried to make it a lil nicer-my lil starfish is still there and 1 rock-my starfish has about had it :( i wanted to leave something to let her know i was there and I opened a piece of Peppermint-"Peppermint Patti" is what se use to call me since I was a tomboy an I found a lil pine cone that looked like a lil christmas tree so I put that on there and told her happy new year and we're still fighting for her rights :*) then we walked over to this guy who has a nice headstone with his pic. etched in it and someone left a 3 leaf clover actually from Ireland on his grave and then it got greaky for me-i looked down and I swear his grave had a piece of peppermint laying on it too-how weird is that?! mine was red and white his was like a chocolate mint one green/brown...i havent even told my cousin we went and she is going to be pissed we didnt stop by but it was one of those trips i wanted to go alone and just pass thru and get home....oh well...
my mom is doing ok-her leg is bleeding bright red blood now which it shouldnt be but she thinks yesterday she did too much exercise they told her to do-i think she has a follow up appt. this week-she said it looks fine like no stitches are popped so she is going to take it easy today-she never can rest and be a good patient....and she isnt in any pain so thats good...
well gotta go wash my hair-we might be going to a japanese restaurant tonight-its suppose to be fun!
