fun weekend
At 2008-04-21 on 1:22 p.m.
we had a fun weekend going to see REBA! I fell in love with her all over again!!
Saturday we left around 8am-got tot he park around 10:30 and it was raining-this doesnt suprise me at all cause everytime i go to see Reba something ruins it-just my luck-well the concert wasnt until 7pm so hopefully it would be over by then and it was :)
The plan was to go to the park ride the rides go check into the hotel after 3 take a shower-go back to the park to go see Reba and that didnt happen-i looked like shit seeing my woman in concert-i had to buy a hat which i look horriable in hats cause my hair got drenched early in the day and then it got kind of chilly but luckly i took a lil coat and this day was the biggest day i think in their history-that is what people were saying-MY REBA brings them in :) so there was no way we could leave now and fight traffic trying to get in-it was packed!! So I hope REBA forgives me for looking my worse cause I know she was looking at me everytime she got close to our side-yes im a lil over the top when it comes to her-she's my IT factor and has been since she started-i've been able to meet her in person a few times and its just a dream come true...THE CONCERT WAS FANTASTIC and over too quick...
Then we went back to the hotel to check in and all the hotels were packed in this lil town-glad we had reservastions-there was a cracker barrel right next door so we just walked over there and got a late dinner and then came back to the room and had tons of laughs...It was me and the hubster and his stepmom and 2 of her kids and 2 of their friends and a friend of the familys so we had 2 rooms next to one another...
Sunday we got up and the hotel had a full free breakfast so we all ate and then headed back to the park-I actually rode fast rides since my back surgery and im sore as heck now..
I came back with a sore throat so did hubby,a sunburn-i needed some sun-worn out and a ton of laundry to do which i said "F" that for now and went to bed and the boys complaining that cable and the net had been out all day so they were going crazy-hubby went outside and fixed it somebody hit or did it on purpose to our box and our wire came on screwed and i also had to order dinner-we all were starving...
There was some saddnes/maddness on the trip-IM GUILTY in the past/present of making fun of people-im a people watcher and i know people make fun of me too-well hubbys stepmom who is younger then both of us which is funny as heck is really big-over 400lbs and she has had the band done around her stomach and did loose 100lbs and she doesnt eat much at all or she will throw up but thats all she lost was 100lbs plus she has thyroid and gland problems and she has tons of energy so its not like she sits and eats all day-thats not why she is fat. well she has no self confidence at all unless she is around her lil circle of friends and she is fun as heck-well when we were at the park on saturday we went of the first ride and she sat at the table to watch our stuff and there was a bunch of guys sitting next to her and they said "thats what we need-a fat woman to sit and watch our stuff when we get on rides"! We came back and she ws crying-so sad-okkk 3 of her 4 kids dye thier hair every month a different bright ass color so that draws attention too and stares-thats just their thing-trust me this is all new to me and our family too-but they are great kids and they have been thru a lot this past year helping taking care of thier dying dad so if they want to dye thier hair pink or purple and get stares like thier freaks i guess thats not such a bad thing-it could be worse...they do everything to help thier mom out-the oldest son who is only 22 is a marine...
I told April that she most of craved cotton candy when she was pregnant with her kids and thats why thier is so many different colors-it ws funny...
Well Saturday we bought her a bracelt that said "believe in yourself" at the park and made her wear it-so Sunday she was already to go ride some rides and me and hubby went our own way for a lil bit and we came back thinking april was on the ride she wanted to ride sooooo bad and then when it came around we saw she wasnt she was sitting on a bench crying her eyes out-we knew why but she wouldnt tell us-thn the kids came running over and said mom it wasnt your fault the sensor kept going off before you got on and after you got off-they have people working on it now-but the damage was done cause she had to get off and walk by everyone while they watched...so me and hubby didnt ride anything else for awhile and stayed with her and we did go on the lil train ride with her which she did enjoy and then looked at animals etc...then we met up with her kids and they took her on the water rides which me and hubby hate getting wet so we dont go on them...
So we headed home and dropped the ones off that rode with us-but its just sad that a person has to live in fear that you think everyone is making fun of you and most the time they are...
gotta run-lots of chores to do and this was a long entry-of coarse i will post pics over at myspace of the trip and i still need to tell why i locked up-maybe later tonight if i get a chance!!later
